FAQs

Second Chances is a card game mixed in with role-playing elements. Players will make decisions that afford (or lose) them tokens which will increase their standing in the game, before drawing a number of cards containing challenging, real-life scenarios. The points gathered in the decision making section will determine whether or not the player is able to beat the challenges that follow, mirroring how a person’s choices influence the options available to them in life.
The target demographic for this game is pre-teens and young adults between the ages of twelve and nineteen. Younger children may find it challenging to grapple with some of the subject matter touched upon in this game, but of course it is entirely possible to create a custom experience that is suitable for all ages.
Each game of Second Chances is unique to the player and game master in the session. Length can be adjusted by amending the number of cards used in each round. Players can always pick up where they’ve left off in a session if they decide to take a break.
Two players: the game master, and the player that they are leading through the session.
